About Julie

I am a licensed mental health clinician. I have over twenty four years of experience working with individuals, couples and children over the age of 12.  I am also particularly well versed in teaching people how to manage the symptoms  associated with anxiety and depression.

Additionally, I have worked substantially on relationships with all sorts of couples i.e. married, living together, same sex, etc.  Counseling related to life transitions (separation and/or divorce, death and dying, moving,  retirement, empty nest, etc) are provided with care and concern.  Additionally, substance abuse evaluations are offered as well.

A particular specialty is  that of Sport Psychology.  I have had the distinct pleasure of working with professional athletes as they manage the obstacles that being an athlete can produce.  Regardless of the level that you, or any athlete partakes in, there are unique challenges that can impact performance.  Sport psychology is designed to minimize those barriers.  Together, these impediments will be in your rear view mirror.

Twenty four years in the field of mental health has provided me with a tremendous amount of experience working with various clinical situations.
